Honeymoon
There are various different versions to the origin of the term ‘honeymoon’. The most well-known of these comes from the old Germanic tribes who, once married, drank a sweet mixture made with honey during the period of one month in the new moon. It was said to bring good luck to the newly-weds.
Another version of the term ‘honeymoon’ comes from Ancient Rome where they claim that, after the wedding, the groom would capture the loved one and take her away to a hidden location where the father of the bride could not find them. It was said that the couple must stay hidden for the duration of four moons; about one month. During their time in hiding they would drink a sweet, aphrodisiacal mixture made from honey until the bride gave her herself to her new husband.
Whether it was the Germans or the Romans who coined this iconic term, it does not matter. What matters is that the next honeymoon will be YOURS!

This package includes: • 3 nights, including breakfast • 1 bottle of national Champagne in your apartment upon arrival • A visit to the ‘Maragogi Galés’ for the honeymoon couple • A romantic, candlelit dinner for 2
A visit to the ‘Maragogi Galés’ is dependent on the low-tide schedule, as this occurs very early in the day Pousada Praiagogi accepts no responsibility for any inconvenience that this may cause. Transfers to the leaving-point for both the ‘Maragogi Galés’ visit and the Manatee Sanctuary are not included. All drinks for both the romantic dinner for 2 and the barbeque are not included. Elements of the package may not be changed unless at the cost of the guest and if one element of the package is not used this will not result in a discount on the total cost of the package.
